Mary's Wedding is a beautiful story of a dream that Mary has which starts at the end and ends at the start. We see a young man and woman as they meet for the first time and quickly fall in love. Charlie goes off to war and the dream moves back and forth as Mary remembers their time together as well as what Charlie told her in the letters he sent home. It's such a beautiful, tragic story that reflected the love and the heartbreak, the joy and the pain, the hopefulness and the hopelessness that we all experience in this life. This was a stunning portrayal that captured how these emotions are not usually one or the other, but often go hand in hand. We are all hurt and broken from this life. But even though the story isn't the happy ending we are rooting for, there is hope.
I loved this play, and I thought all for One's production of it was excellent. I hope that if you have never been to an afO production that you will choose to go to one soon. They do a variety of shows, and they are all high quality productions that you won't want to miss! You can find out more by going to
