afO's A Peculiar People Cast

I really enjoyed watching this!  As I mentioned in my last post, I have seen and photographed this play before.  So I was actually surprised that I didn't really remember anything at all.  I truly thought it would come back to me as I was seeing it, but for the majority of the performance, I didn't recognize anything.  I did kinda remember the ending though, which was so well done.  Anyways, this cast did a wonderful job!

afO's A Peculiar People PR

I meant to post these so many weeks ago... Haha!  Anyways, I'm excited to see this tonight at their final rehearsal before opening weekend!  I know I've seen this before the last time that afO did this production, but I honestly don't really remember it, and I can't seem to figure out when that was.  But I'm sure it'll come back to me as I'm photographing it again.  😂

Kasey's Maternity

I really enjoyed meeting Kasey and Jacob!  Although I thought Jacob looked familiar, and I was right because we apparently had some overlap in the same circles when we were kids, so this wasn't actually my first time meeting him.  Gotta love that small town feel of Fort Wayne!  Haha!  Anyways, we had  lovely weather (except for some chilly gusts of wind) and the whole park to ourselves.  Unfortunately most the flowers weren't quite ready to bloom yet, but that just made Kasey and Jacob pop even more among the greens and brown.  😊  

Matthew James Scott

 This session was one of the most special ones I've been asked to do, and became the first newborn session done at Parkview's PICU.  The day I went to the PICU, Matthew was one month old and had spent most of that month in the PICU.  Despite having such a rough start to life outside of the womb, he smiled so much while I was there!  I really wasn't sure what to expect for doing a session at the hospital, but in the end, it worked out quite well.  His mama had a couple of special blankets that we spread over his hospital bed as a backdrop.  💙

Matthew is still in the hospital as he continues to have difficulty breathing.  Prayers are appreciated for him and his family!  After he finally gets home and settled, I'll be doing a short follow-up session to include his sisters.  😊

afO's Daddy Long Legs

I thoroughly enjoyed this show so I really didn't mind seeing it a second time for the understudies!  All four performers were wonderful!  Only 3 out of the 4 musicians were there for the rehearsal I was photographing, but I was really impressed with them too.  The live music was the perfect touch to this intimate story with just two characters.  Seeing this re-awoken my love for musicals, and I've been listening to various ones while working these last couple weeks.  Anyways, here are some of my favorite pictures.  The first set is with the main actors.
