afO's The Dreadful Journal of Phoebe Weems Promos

It's been a quiet couple of months for me.  I was so glad that I could finally get out and do some pictures again!  These are the promotional pictures I took for all for One's next production, The Dreadful Journal of Phoebe Weems.  I'm extra excited about this one because it was written by Michael Wilhelm (no relation to me in case you were wondering).  This is going to be a special play because the mother and daughter you see in the first picture are not just pretending - they are mother and daughter in real life!

Phoebe, age 12, has a problem. She’s afraid of … well, basically everything. Will writing and drawing her fears and locking them in a notebook help? Not if a gang of bullies gets a hold of it. Her parents, a psychologist, and her best friend all try to help. But true help may come from the unlikeliest of places. Another world premiere comedy/drama from Michael Wilhelm (Turtle Soup, Bentley). RATED PG FOR THEMES

Abigail Ruth

This sweet little girl was a week old when she came in for her session.  We got Abigail all settled, but shortly after I started taking pictures, she woke up.  She stayed awake the rest of the session which meant I got to stare at those beautiful baby blue eyes!  I couldn't believe how alert and expressive she was!  We had a great session!

Abraham Evan

This little guy was the first one back to my studio!  I was so glad I was able to do his newborn session, even though he was a month old when I met him.  He stayed awake the whole time, but he was very sweet.  He was a strong little guy that easily got out of every wrap I put him in, but that didn't stop me from trying to keep him wrapped up.  😊

ShunTaya's Senior Session

ShunTaya wanted to include her girls in her session which was fine with me!  However, we had quite a bit of trouble finding a time that worked and safe place to do her mini session, but we finally figured it out, and I'm glad it worked out!  We ended up at Foster Park, and it was pretty busy with many other photographers, but we were able to work around them and have a fun time.  She has a sweet family, and I wish her all the best!  😊

Stuart's Senior Session

After chatting about what Stuart wanted for his mini session, we agreed the west side of Headwaters Park would be a good fit.  It was a beautiful, quiet morning with no one else in sight.  I gotta say, I think this is becoming one of my favorite places for sessions!  😄  Stuart was so chill as we wandered around, often backtracking to spots we had already been to as I saw them from a new perspective which triggered a new idea for a shot I wanted to get.  😊

Kierra's Senior Session

Kierra suggested we do her mini senior session at Friemann Square, and although I have driven by it SO much, I hadn't spent much time walking through it.  I think it was the perfect spot, and we had a lot of fun!  It was super hot, so Kierra took the opportunity to dip her feet in the water.  😄  At one point, some people saw us and after asking a couple questions, they congratulated Kierra on her graduation and even cheered for her.  😊

Sam's Senior Session

I really enjoyed meeting Sam and his family!  I have to admit, this was actually my first time at Promenade Park.  😁  I thought it was really nice, but there were SO many people there.  We had a bit of trouble avoiding the crowd at first, but we managed to work around the people passing by, and then we found some better spots that weren't crowded.  😊
