Jon's Senior Session

I was relieved that the weather cooled down a bit for this senior session.  I've known Jon for a long time, and I will say, he definitely wasn't always this cool and calm.  😂  But seriously, back when I was supposed to keep him in line (as he was a very squirrely middle schooler in those days), I often got myself in trouble for laughing at his comments and jokes instead of encouraging him to be quiet.  Although I will say, there were times when I don't think he wasn't trying to be funny but I thought he was hilarious, and I hoped he understood that I wasn't laughing at him.  Anyways, I'm proud of how he's grown up and matured as he's accepted this new stage in life called, "I guess I'm an adult now??".  😅

Congratulations Jonny!  Also, in case I haven't told you before, the beard suits you.  😊

Natalie's Senior Session

I had so much fun on this chilly morning doing Natalie's Senior Session!  We did these at her home so (some) of her pets could be included.  To be clear, Buddy (the doggo) just followed us around and posed himself.  😂  I've known Natalie's family for many years, but never really got to know Natalie since she's quite a bit younger than me.  I have to say, Natalie is so sweet and laid back.  After the session, I stuck around and we talked about our love of art and animals.  I know that no matter what Natalie decides to pursue, she'll love it and do well!  💓

Rachael's Senior Session

There was quite a bit of planning that went into this session with Rachael since we were going to multiple locations and doing a few outfit changes.  When the day came, it was a perfect day, except that it was very windy.  Since I had just dealt with quite a bit of wind with my previous senior session, I wasn't as worried about it, but I was feeling a bit annoyed.  However, by the time the session started, the wind had died down quite a bit and wasn't an issue at all.  We had a great time, and I even survived riding in the back of a U-Haul.  😂

I can't believe Rachael is a senior!  I first really got to know her when she was in middle school, and I was helping out with the youth group at church.  Rachael is such a sweetheart, and I've always felt that we connected from more than just sharing a name.  She is so talented in many different areas!  She's not sure what she wants to do next so she's taking time to figure that out instead of heading right off to the next thing which I think is pretty wise.  I'm sure that whatever she decides to do, she will excel beyond even her own expectations.  😊

Congratulations Rachael!

Maya's Senior Session

I love when I can get siblings of my previous clients!  I got to photograph Sam last year, and this year I got to photograph Maya for her senior session.  I was a bit nervous about the weather because it was pretty windy.  But Maya was a champ, and we were able to get a lot of awesome pictures!  We started at Freimann Square and then headed downtown.  I had so much fun finding the best spots while trying to avoid the wind.  The buildings weren't actually blocking the wind as well as I had hoped, but with some patience, we made it work.  💓

Nicole's Senior Session

I thought I was done with sessions for 2020, but then one last senior mini session snuck in, and I'm so glad it worked out!  😁  Nicole was so easy to photograph and we made the most from this quick time together.  It was a beautiful, chilly day, and I was once again reminded how blessed I've been by this weather that has allowed me to continue working outside of my studio.  I've learned a lot from this past year and I am so excited to see what I can accomplish in 2021!  😊

ShunTaya's Senior Session

ShunTaya wanted to include her girls in her session which was fine with me!  However, we had quite a bit of trouble finding a time that worked and safe place to do her mini session, but we finally figured it out, and I'm glad it worked out!  We ended up at Foster Park, and it was pretty busy with many other photographers, but we were able to work around them and have a fun time.  She has a sweet family, and I wish her all the best!  😊
