Aspen Faith

Despite sickness and bad weather, we were able to get this precious little girl into the studio.  Aspen started out asleep but then woke up and wanted to see everything.  She gave me such sweet smiles and maybe a couple ornery grins too.  😅  She didn't really like being contained in the wraps and seemed happier with her feet left out so she could stretch.  But after she got her belly full, she succumbed to the warmth and the wraps and fell into a nice, deep sleep.  The little shower set is what did her in.  She was just too comfy to stay awake any longer.

I photographed Aspen's brother a couple of years ago.  When I have a returning family, I always check to see what blankets, wraps, and props I had previously used to see if I can incorporate any of those into the new session.  I was pleased that even though the colors we used with Aspen are different than what we used with her brother, I was still able to incorporate many of the same blankets and baskets.  😊

Thank You!

Thank you so much to all of my 2023 clients!  It's been such a fun year!  I truly hope that my photographs can be a blessing to you and your families for generations to come.  💗

Joe and I always test out the sets I do for the Holiday Mini Sessions.  We kept trading who had which cat because the cats would be perfect for me, but Joe couldn't get them to hold still or look anything but super annoyed.  Which picture is your favorite??  I can't decide between #2 or #4.  Also, I'd like to point out that Joe had two hands to use for cat wrangling and I only had one as I used my cell phone as the camera remote, but I still managed to get each cat to look at the camera.  Haha!!  I then proceeded to try to get a cute one of just Kira and Arien but they were refusing to sit together.  I finally managed to get a picture of them together and called it good enough.  They were so annoyed with us by the time we were done.  😂

afO's Longing for the Light

I thoroughly enjoyed afO's Longing for the Light!  This was such a unique, special show that really was so perfect for getting into the spirit of Christmas.  I loved the variety of individual skits while also having some that were a continuing story that was just broken up into smaller chunks.  I've seen these 6 actors in other things and they are truly just so talented!  I didn't realize how good they are at singing too!  I had actually already seen the skit that Dennis and Lauren did, but it was many years ago.  I remembered it quite well though and couldn't stop laughing!  That one was probably the highlight for me, but the whole thing was so good!

afO's Longing for the Light Cast

afO did a special Christmas production called Longing for the Light.  This was a collection of skits, songs, and more.  I really enjoyed it!  It was also fairly convenient that it was being done at my church so I knew the space well.  Anyways, your last chance to see this is tonight.  Don't miss out!  You can find more info or purchase tickets at: https://allforonefw.org/longing-for-the-light/
